A tempting array of home-baked cakes, savouries and pastries awaits customers at Uttoxeter Country Market. Specialities include Staffordshire Oatcakes and frangipan.

There is always a wide selection of homemade preserves, jams, marmalades, jellies and lemon curd on sale.

Seasonal home-grown fruit and vegetables, together with locally-grown garden plants are also available.

A wonderful selection of handmade crafts, knitted items and greeting cards are also on sale, including hand-smocked dresses and costume jewellery. These can all be made to customer’s special requirements.

Celebration cakes are made to order as well as gift baskets and parcels.

Tea and coffee is served.

Uttoxeter Country Market also attends the Uttoxeter Food Festival.

Uttoxeter was known to the Saxons as Uttocceaster.
